MADRID - the establishment of the international network of law firms for protection of shareholders' rights, and investors in the presence of VZMD

Law Firms included in the International Financial Litigation Network successfully represent shareholders and investors, even in the most demanding cases of damages and fraud worldwide, such as Bankia, Bernard Madoff in British Petroleum. Founding members and the most prominent representatives of law firms from Austria, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Holland, Spain, Turkey and the USA attended the founding general meeting yesterday.

After the founding general meeting, Mr. Javier Cremedes, the main initiator of the newly established network, a co-founder and the President of Law Firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, held a reception in his home which was, at his invitation, attended by individual representatives of the World Federation of Investors (WFI), WFI President - Mr. Roger Ganser, WFI Secretary General - dr. Jean-Pierre Paelinck, Director of Spanish Shareholders' Association – Mr. Henning Wegener, and Kristjan Verbič, MA.

Parallel to the above mentioned Congress, an Annual Meeting of the World Federation of Investors (WFI) is also taking place, and the Executive Committee of this international organisation, which joins representatives of investors from 55 countries, held a meeting yesterday, and today an Annual General Assembly is taking place, where VZMD is presenting international business-investment programmes Invest to Slovenia (investo.si) and International Investors` Network (invest-to.net), in the framework of which it ensures networking, presence, and an opportunity for companies and investment projects from Slovenia and wider, to present themselves.

In the framework of WFI Annual Meeting Kristjan Verbič, MA, is also going to visit Spanish Congress, where the President of the Congress will welcome the assembled guests.

After today's presentation of Santander Bank, (VZMD President already attended its presentation in 2011, while meeting the Board President Don Emiliom Botinom,) the esteemed WFI representatives are going to visit Spanish Central Bank tomorrow, as well as the aviation, military, and spaceship concern EADS.

As usually, suitable provisions have also been made at this occasion, ensuring successful presentations of companies, institutions and investment projects included in the VZMD international business-investment programmes.

After some successful presentations performed in Astana, Almaty, Baku, Brussels, Bucharest, Vienna, Ljubljana, Moscow, New Delhi, Tokyo and Zagreb, next month there will be at least a few more presentations carried out in Moscow, Vienna and Cape Town.
